E-Learning & Networking Administrator

Nazmie has over 20 years of experience as an international consultant focused on Information Technology systems and administration. His expertise ranges from the management and maintenance of IT infrastructures to the development, programming and deployment of various types of websites.

Nazmie formally joined the Spark Health Africa team in October 2021 as the e-Learning & Networking Administrator. He had previously worked as a consultant supporting our website development and maintenance. In his new role Nazmie adds value to the team by developing and piloting the Spark Health Africa E-learning and networking platform. 

As an Engineering graduate in Computer Science with experience as a Systems Administrator, Nazmie’s skills and experience have been refined across diversified fields in the IT industry. His self-motivated passion for the industry has earned him qualifications as a Microsoft Systems Certified Professional as well as the internationally recognised ITIL foundation certification.

Prior to Spark Health Africa, Nazmie was actively involved as the Systems Administrator for an educational institution in South Africa. His hands-on approach to facilitating educational programmes led him to introducing the Student Technology Club to Raspberry PI, 3D Printing, Scratch-& Python Programming. He also progressed learning activities by initiating a Robotics programme at the school. Nazmie brings his passion for technology-driven learning to transformative leadership development as part of Spark Health Africa’s programs.
