As we look at our past work in 2022 with a sense of achievement and looking forward to 2023, in this fourth installment of newsletters we are delighted to share with you our upcoming plans and activities for the year. We will be launching our E-Campus experimentation module. E-Campus is Spark Health Africa’s internally developed platform that supports innovative capacity building of African public health institutions and health care workforce through learning and networking under Africa’s New Public Health Order.
Looking Ahead
Save the date! As a final hurrah to the Learning Network under its current funding stream that ends in March 2023, Spark Health Africa will, on 16 March 2023, host a webinar titled Co-Innovation Platforms in support of sustainable transition to scale: moving from talk to action. The webinar will provide participants experience of scaling of innovations in the public sector in East Africa and provide a chance for networking with technical assistance.

Public Sector Scaling Action Lab Workshop
Spark Health Africa will facilitate the Public Sector Scaling Action in partnership with government cohorts and local champions. During 2022, PSS Action Lab Champions from across East and Southern Africa met in Nairobi, Kenya to discuss barriers and opportunities for scaling innovations in the public sector.

Collaborative Action for Childcare in Kenya workshop

In December 2022, Spark Health Africa participated in the development of a framework around Childcare in Kenya. The framework recognises gaps in childcare in Kenya and identifies strategies for the Collaborative Action for Childcare in Kenya to implement sustainable and context-specific childcare solutions.
